Been on the road for a bit. Be nice to be home again. Miss my children. Miss my sons. Wish I saw them more, a lot more.

Car Dealer Debacle
How heart broken am I that Chrysler and many of their car dealers are going out of business? Well, I’m not the least bit sad for them.
These car dealers have been sticking it to us for the last 30 years, now they want to cry foul, get bail out money and whine about their industry. Sorry, hope they stick it in your pooper. You make cars that don’t last, over charge because you let the unions have to much power and force your employee cost to $80.oo per hour and expect us, the american tax payer to bail your crooked asses out.
The media contends that the parts supplies will go out of business, not so. There are millions of cars on the road by made my each and every car maker and those cars will require parts for ever, because there junk to start with.
By by Chrysler and GM. Good radiance!
ASAP Eh?
The world has gotten just a little to serious with ASAP (As soon as possible). Seems to me now that a much better system would be “Wigati” (When I get around to it). That’s right, we all need to slow down just a notch or two. Stop running to do everything yesterday. Take a moment to look around, play with your dog, watch the wonder of what is going on around you. Take a break…a breather. Ya know…I’ll finish this little blog later. Going for a walk now. Why don’t you? Just get up, drop what you are doing and walk for a while. Adopt “Indian Time” my friend.

In case you didn’t know – Fathers Day Origin
Sonora could realize the greatness of her father and wanted to let him know how deeply she was touched by his sacrifices, courage, selflessness and love. To pay a tribute to her great dad, Sonora held the first Father’s Day celebration on 19th of June 1910, on the birthday of her father. She was the first to solicit the idea of having an official Father’s Day observance. However, unlike Mother’s Day, which was readily accepted, Father’s Day was received with mockery and hilarity. Though the day was gaining attention, it was mostly for the wrong reasons. Jokes, satire, parody and derision were all that the day was commemorated for.
In 1913, a bill in accordance with making the day official was introduced. The idea was approved by US President Woodrow Wilson in 1916. Later, in 1924, the idea gained further momentum as it was supported by President Calvin Coolidge. In 1926, a National Father’s Day Committee was formed in New York City. However, it was thirty years later that a Joint Resolution of Congress gave recognition to Father’s Day. Another 16 years passed before President Richard Nixon established the third Sunday of June, as a permanent national observance day of Father’s Day in 1972.
The day was primarily nationalized in the honor of all good fathers, who contribute as much to the family as a mother, in their own ways. Another theory states that even before Dodd came into the picture, Dr. Robert Webb of West Virginia is believed to have conducted the first Father’s Day service in 1908 at the Central Church of Fairmont. However, it was the colossal efforts of Dodd, which made it possible for the day to acquire national recognition. The white and red rose was made the official flowers for Father’s Day celebration. While the white rose commemorated gratitude for a father, who was deceased, a red rose expressed thankfulness to one, who was living.
Friends
And if you thought we meant the TV show, then you really are a dummy, Hey Dummy!
What I do mean are real, true, life friends. How many do you have? We are not talking about people whom you work with, or see every morning at the Bagel Shop. Not talking about people you know and do some business with. No, we are reffering to those few people in your life that you would take a bullet for, and that would do the same for you.
If you consider someone a friend, and you find that they stuck the proverbial knife in your back, spoke ill about you to another friend when you were not around, betrayed your trust in them, this is NOT your friend.
Did you share something with a person you thought was a friend and they went and told the very thing you said, or your issue or concern to the very person that your concern was about? This is not your friend. As a matter of fact, this person is your enemy. Why you asked? This so called friend has taken what you said in confidence, repeated it, no doubt embellished your feelings by adding in some spice of their own, and in no uncertain terms, betrayed you. This person is Judas, ( יהודה איש־קריות ) and should be shunned.
At the ripe old age of 47, I have 5 friends. A very small number in the great scheme of things. I have lived many places, traveled and seen many things, and met people of all faiths, colors, ages and so on. After 47 years of life, I have 5 friends. The names will not I mention, but to say only that these 5 I would take the bullet for…and no others.
My friends that only they would know themselves by are:
The Religious Nut: The Bald Viking: The Old Blister: The Mime: The Bean counter: The Cherry guy (life is like a bowl of cherries), and most of all мой супруга. All the rest are “casual acquaintances” or business associates.
Guard your friends close, for they are most important in these times. Guard there feelings, care for them, and if you must, lay down your life for them. If these friends would do these things for you, then indeed you have a life friend.
This very select group of people can be and are many times closer to you than blood. Never betray them, guard them, watch them, love them with all that you are!
Remember!
A fairweather friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!
To my few friends, thanks for allowing me to be your friend.
